Specific tasks should be added under the appropriate priority. More general suggestions and ideas can be added at the bottom of the page. Don't forget to delete a task once you've done it!
High priority
- Set up a search box to search all relevant princeton sites — princeton.edu, knowledge base, etc. etc. There's a dozen or so sites that are consistently useful, and we could help a lot just by setting up a google search that looks in all those places at once.
- thesis - Collect and write up all thesis deadlines by department. Soon! Top priority.
- Add phone numbers to the restaurants in Nassau Street Hours
- See Wanted pages for pages that are listed in a menu but have no content yet. Give them some!
- jobs - Write the jobs page
- Easy-to-use contributors' guide - something that actually makes it easy to start contributing.
Medium priority
- Finish Departmental offices - just click on the official list of departmental websites and add what's missing. Follow the current formatting, including anchors.
- Finish Transport
- Add Faculty directory (?)
Low priority
- Free internet - Probably still missing some places
- Electrical outlets - Decide how comprehensive this should be (all classrooms, or just the ones that confuse people?), and add more locations (e.g. whitman courtyard, other outdoor-and-often-neglected places).
- Calendars - Add future calendars also.
- A bunch of links, mainly from official PU sites, that should be turned into Panda pages
- Shop hours for 185 Nassau Street - for visual arts people.
Page organization
Wanted pages are listed in a menu somewhere but have no content yet. Give them some!
Orphaned pages have been created but aren't linked to from anywhere. These either need to be sorted or deleted (as in, moved to the "deleted:" category, not completely erased). Go to "Options" (bottom right) then "Backlinks" to see what else links to the page; either delete all those links or update them to the new page.
Possible merge: merge the "To-Do" list into the "Members" page, but have it as a foldable sub-item?

Can currently only show 10 tips of the day — there's no way for normal people to access previous tips (unless they know where to look, i.e. totd:number). Is there any way to make it have extra pages that say "see older tips"?
We've had a request for online polls — could go on the homepage, maybe rotating with Tip of the Day, maybe somewhere else. Would be fun I think.
Course information including registrar's info (can scrape and reformat so it doesn't have to be updated manually), plus links to study materials, old exams, blackboard site, etc.
Big idea: is there any way (automatic, ideally, or manual) that we could categorise all pages that need to be updated at a particular time of year? E.g. language table pages need to be redone every semester, the Dillon Gym page needs to be redone every month (they have new calendars), etc. etc. Ideally an automatic reminder would be great, otherwise we'll never get these things updated often enough.
Should we also have a button on each page that says "report broken link/out-of-date calendar/whatever?" this would help us catch some, but not all, mistakes—some of the mistakes (which the user can't tell if they're mistakes or not) we need a way to deal with preemptively.
Some way to know what the next good thing to work on is.
Is there any way we can make a script that just reads the hours of operation for different facilities and tells you what's open right now? E.g. for coffee it would be really, really useful. "What's open right now?," you ask, and it lists what's open and when exactly it closes.
Performance arts [currently being done -PP, 2/14]? Social groups [what does that mean? -PP, 2/14]? Religious groups [Great idea -PP, 2/14]?
